Audi Expo

Audi A3:-
 Delhi Auto Expo 2012 Audi
At least two new cars will be unveiled by Audi at the Expo. While the Audi Q3’s appearance is certain, the Ingolstadt-based manufacturer may also showcase the S6 sedan at its stand. Both the Q3 and the S6 are expected to be launched in the second half of the year. The S6, a sportier iteration of the A6, has a 4-litre, 420 PS engine that can propel the sedan from 0-60 kmph in 4.8 seconds.

The smallest and cheapest car in the Audi line-up (that is until the Q1 arrives later), the Q3 is smaller than its competitor, the BMW X1. It may be offered in two engine options: a highly refined 2-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit that pumps out 214 PS or a 2-litre, 179 PS TDI diesel mill. As of now, the diesel variant appears to be the most likely variant to be launched in India.

 Audi Q5 Hybrid:-

Audi would also be showcasing the electric hybrid concept of the A3 at the Expo. Revealed at the Shanghai Motor Show earlier this year, the Audi A3 e-tron’s saloon concept uses a hybrid powertrain comprising a 1.4-litre, 210 PS TFSI petrol engine and a 27 PS electric motor powered by lithium ion batteries. Mated to a seven-speed dual clutch S tronic transmission, the A3 e-tron is capable of doing 6.8-second acceleration runs and a top speed of 232 kmph!
